The Line Up:

Axis Of (NI)

Axis Of are an Alt/Punk band hailing from Portstewart/Belfast. Although they are not long on the Irish music scene they have made quite an impact with their uncompromising sound, chaotic live shows and thoughtful lyrics. Debut single "Brobdingnagian" was released to a terrific reception in a sold out Auntie Annies, which also lead to a headlining slot at the legendary Belfast4haiti Gig. Axis Of will embark on a 3rd UK tour in June to support their 2nd single "Port Na Spaniagh"

24 Broken Amps(Dublin)

Three piece Alt/Punk/Grunge based in Dublin. Formed at the dawn of 2010, the band consists of Kerry-bred vocalist/guitarist Billy, French bassist Stan and Dubliner Luke on drums/vocals.
Reviving the raucous sound of early 90's, they have unashamedly set themselves apart from the indie-scene, while retaining an original energetic buzz all of their own, at once melodic and caustic.
This sunny March has so far seen the recording of 24BA's debut EP and the band have been belting out their tunes at regular gigs around Dublin to a curious public.

The Whipround (Dublin)

Forged in the fires of....no that's naff....Rising from the ashes like....wait, hold on....Catapulted from obscurity by.....I can get this....It was a day like any other day.......this is hard! Bound by their mutual love of Rock and Roll cliches the Whipround endeavour to expand your minds and shake your behinds....or is it the other way round?

Noxious Toyz (UK)

The band was formed out of the ashes of various previous bands, with Stief coming from former punk band The Obscene Toys, and Glenn hailing from the highly successful Neo-Rockabilly band The Pharaohs..
The Noxious Toyz have a string of successful gigs and tours under their belt and have played with some of the biggest names around, with the bulk of their success coming from the Rockabilly, Punk and Scooter scenes..
Many may believe that this is a very strange mix of genres, but The Noxious Toyz are proud to be one of those few bands that can genuinly cross over the genre barriers using their music and unique stage show to draw crowds from every corner of every scene..

Ka Tet (Galway)

Ka tet are a three piece, alternative hard rock group who have been playing together since 2006. Gigging frequently since the band formed, the power trio has earned support slots with acts such as The Coronas, Aslan, Director, God is an Astronaut, and Kila. Currently recording their hard-hitting, debut E.P, Ka tet's sound has been compared to such bands as Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. Ka tet are set to have a very successful 2011 after joining Irish Label 'Cold Room Records' and the release of their much anticipated debut single 'Bob N' Charlie'.

Mongohorn (Dublin)

Mongohorn are one of Ireland's most predominant punk bands. Created in 2005, mongohorn feature a four people line-up and they where previously known as Freestone state. Regular gigs around Dublin have been well received, and current work on material for a double album, of both live and studio tracks.

Town Criers (Roscommon)

As energetic as they are ambitious, Town Criers are a four piece rock band hailing from Roscommon. Writing and recording since 2006, they have recently finished their first EP with involvement from Dave Hingerty (currently touring with the Swell season) and Ken McHugh (mastermind of Dublin group Autamata) The band has been busy this year. As well as recording, they have gigged extensively throughout the country with the likes of such success stories as The Flaws, Fred, Dirty Epics and The Red Labels. Playing with bands of this ilk is no surprise, as Town Criers have a live energy on stage that is hard to resist.
