Breton-based poet and publisher arrives in Galway for two readings this weekend.

Sylvia Crawford, Secretary, the Western Writers' Centre - Ionad Scribhneoiri Chaitlín Maude - Galway (left) with Breton poet Eve Lerner this afternoon at Galway Airport. Eve reads (in English) from her work at Scéal Éile bookstore, Ennis, Co. Clare on Friday coming at 7. 30pm and the following day, Saturday, at Gort Library, Gort, Co. Galway at 3pm.

Eve is also poetry editor with Breton cultural revue, Hopala! who recently published Galway poets Rita Ann Higgins, Margaretta D'Arcy, Nuala Ní Chonchúir and Eamon Kelly in French translation and is associated with Association l'Autre Rive publishers who have produced works and anthologies of poets on the Atlantic fringe.

With music. Admission free.
