My sincerest best wishes to all who braved the weather and the floods to get to Gort for this. I wish I had been able to make it but the flooding hemmed me in. Keep up the work, cracks are beginning to appear in the Shell operation and in their whole methodology. Fred

The solidarity weekend for Rossport in Gort is going ahead in spite of weather conditions.
However, even though the weekend will focus on raising awareness in Gort of the situation of the community in Rossport, Shell to Sea Gort has decided that funds raised at the gig will be going to the special floods relief fund created to support local families who have lost their livelihoods from the flooding.
HOW TO GET TO GORT
From Galway- You can come through Loughrea or through Kinvara. Buses are getting through.
If you need further information please contact the number above.

This is a great development. The very best of luck with it and I hope there's a positive reaction. I put this little Blues song together this evening and I hope it's of some use. Very best - Fred Johnston
