Just 58.3% of all pupils across the UK passed their maths GCSE this year, down from 59.5% last year and the lowest since 2013. But the percentage of students getting the highest grades was higher in free schools than other schools.

The 3rd Belfast Anarchist Bookfair will take place at the Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre, Lower Donegall Street, Belfast on Saturday 29th of August.

The 3rd Belfast Anarchist Bookfair will take place at the Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre from 12 noon to 6pm on Saturday 29th August 2009 with an exhibition of Abel paz's photos from the Spanish revolution and video showings at 9-11 Lombard Street Belfast on Friday 28th and Sunday 30th of August (details below).

Talks/discussions confirmed so far:

Equality and Northern Ireland
Freedom and Communism - Equality and Anarchism
Fighting Racism and Fascism
Equality and Education
Taking on the Bosses

Friday 28th and Sunday 29th August "En el que sabe la grandeza de nuestro manana no cabe el pesimismo - In one who knows the greatness of our tomorrows there is no room for pessimism" video showings and an exhibition of photo's from the late Abel Paz's 'The Spanish Civil War' at 9-11 Lombard Street, Belfast.

Friday 28th 5.00 - 7.30 pm plus showing of the documentary by Lisa Berber and Carol Mazer "...de toda la vida" and Ken Loaches 'Land and Freedom'
Sunday 30th 1.00 - 4.00 pm plus showing of Vicente Aranda's 'Libertarias'

jesus this will be a topic of topic, giving what is happening in the economy, trade unioin rights.
we can recall 5 am 4 August. out side Thomas Cook, Grafton street. Mc Dowells old boys, and new kids on the block out of Tempelmore, advancing from Pearse st. Dublin port workers.

TU partnership deal we are facing over 500,000 becoming unemployed 1.8 billion in social welfare cut backs. 5%. people on community employment work inatitives to be targgeted.

people are still been forced to except illegal employment, been denied T U employment rights denied their wages been told no money to pay. when they report to state, they are told to go back home to were they came from. certain staff from the migrant rights centre in Dublin, going along with this state agenda.

we have to say loud and clear, NO TO ILLEGAL EMPLOYMENT
know your employment rights. minimum wage per hour. 8.65 in Republic. trade union contact numbers. report explotation. working hours, sick pay holiday pay. overtime
