If you think of America as 'independent' you must be living in TV land owned by Fox 's so called 'news.
If you ignore 174 illegal military invasions by the US, If you want to celebrate US independence and ignore the fact that the US completely depends on resources taken from other countries, thats fine. If you want to ignore the fact that 200,000 vets from Gulf War 1 will die due to the illegal use of Depleted Uranium (800 tonnes) 236 thats fine. And that 174,000 of their military records are now missing unable to prove that they were there....thats fine. If you want to ignore the fact that 67% of returnee vets from Iraq this time have given birth to grossly deformed children due to the use of illegal DU weaponry thats fine. The death toll from DU fever this time is estimated to be 1 million US Vets. 8,000 Tonnes up to 2006....they stopped counting. If you dont see that this recent illegal invasion without UN sanction cost the US 800 trillion in taxpayers dollars and caused this global recession thats great.
I have many friends, Marines, infantry, medics, who put their lives on the line over there for nothing only to see their lives destroyed for believing psychopaths who lied to them. I have a friend who i see a lot, lives here now.....completely fucked up. He was involved in Napalming 70,000 civilians in Iraq...poor fucker ....wont see the end of his life....cant function.The suicide rate is twice that from Viet-Nam. The winners are the global industrialists who now benefit from a global wage cuts from the whole workforce of this planet, and a scramble for jobs.
All this was orchestrated. The death toll in Iraq since 1991 stands at 5.6 million. Half were women and children. The notion of independence/patriotism is a carnival for the masses, and nothing more.
I refuse to look at anything through the venneer the Government, the media, or the general public place upon me....or attempt to place on me.....thats what i see as independence
