With swivel-eyed zeal, Ed Miliband has been telling broadcasters he has a "mandate" to deliver his unworkable and unaffordable Net Zero agenda. Not when just 20% of the public voted for you, says Ben Pile.

No Room at the Inn Vigil/Demo in support of Asylum Seekers

Residents Against Racism will be holding a vigil at the crib/christmas tree near the spire to demonstrate against the recent deportation last Thursday to Nigeria

The immigration police are getting more underhand and organised with recent deportations asylum seekers are being rounded up from hostels and accommodation weeks in advance and being held in Cloverhill prison and Mountjoy women's prison and while women are locked up for weeks they are seperated from their children while the state has them in care only reunited on the deportation flight.

Please come along and show some solidarity and support to those deported and also asylum seekers already in the system.

come on guys
last week outside the GNIB was depressing. only a small number of people showed their opposition to deportations
the heavy squad were out in their numbers. storm front website has posted statements against African family fighting against deportation. they have target Senator David Norris for supporting this family.

Maybe it's time to admit that the reason that so few people turn up to these anti- deportation rallies is that the vast majority of Irish people are in favour of deportations of failed asylum- seekers. Like the result of the citizenship referendum, you might not like it but you have to realise that you are in a tiny minority. Democracy rules, well at least it did until our treacherous Government ignored the democratically expressed wishes of the Irish voters on the Lisbon constitution.

Had The Government of the day not behaved in the arrogant manner by inviting asylum seekers into Ireland then perhaps Irish People would have
accepted the volume of displaced persons with open arms .
Another example of government thuggery is now on the agenda and we are expected to clean up the social mess involved as a result .
Nowadays the electorate would not be as Thick to believe stories carefully manipulated by Crooks In Government acting as Gods,
Easy to be wise in hindsight is all we have to say ,We ought to be ashamed of ourselves in allowing the Govt. to behave as they continue to stumble
from one crisis to another and the carnage left in their wake
