Disinterred Bodies This week has been a distressing week for those of us who remain faithful to our Ancestors. On Tuesday of this week, August 5th, 2008, many witnessed photos which documented further destruction in the Tara-Skryne Valley, the historical seat of the High Kings of Ireland, and the Sacred Center of the Island. Oh, the Gabhra still flows, her waters now muddied and sullied by the endless pounding of machinery. The earth herself is groaning in agony from the wretchedness of the devastation. like a Mother who's child has been ripped from her womb.
Being fully aware of the scars which have been left in the wake of the M-3 Motorway, I realize there is very little that can be done at this point to go back and repair the damage which has been wrought. However, you and your Ministers are fully capable of coming up with a plan to divert the Motorway away from the Valley immediately.
Roads come and roads go, but our Ancestors were only here once. To pummel the earth beneath which they rested, to bulldoze vast areas and dig up the bones which were resting peacefully, is an act of inhumanity. To have removed cremations, such as the ones at Ardsallagh, to squirrel away remains from Collierstown in plastic bags to unknown sites, well, that is abominable, beyond disgraceful. Shame on you and all involved. It is a bloody wonder that something you could not possibly fathom has not risen up in indignation and outrage, from under the very ground you and your kind have desecrated.
At least, not yet.
