Hi,

What is the story with the Campaign For A Real Health Service. They're notices appear on Indymedia but there are no meetings and I want to know why that is. I mean if the campaign is "real" there should be a real presence with organising meeting for the ordinary person like me to go along to.... Can anyone help with an explanation

Yes there are meetings and it is real. There was a meeting in Cork in May of over 125 people in the Shandon Court Hotel, did you not see the posters or read about the meeting in the local media? It got extensive coverage in the Evening Echo and on 96FM. The campaign in Cork has a local organising committee that meets very regularly, at least once a week. And there is a demonstration on 28 June as advertised above. The campaign is very real and if you want more information on it and you live in the Cork area then phone the contact number above!

Nationally the campaign had a very successful meeting in Dublin, followed by a national conference........and meetings have also been held in other cities......
