Public meeting on “New Knowledge for a New Generation”
Meet with some of the world’s leading Youth Suicide Researchers,Hear about their work and findings, in an interactive informal Town Hall forum.Researchers will include projects from Australia, Canada, China, Denmark,
England, India, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, Slovenia, USA
On Aug. 25-26, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will partner with University College Dublin, the Irish National Office for Suicide Prevention, the 3T's and the Louis & Zelie Martin Foundation to sponsor an international workshop on youth suicide to be held in Dublin. The workshop, titled "Youth Suicide: New Knowledge for a New Generation," will bring together key representatives from over 15 countries to systematically examine and compare national youth suicide prevention strategies.
The conference is holding a Town Hall Meeting which will be open to the public on Sunday August 26 from 11:30-1pm. The world's leading Youth Suicide Researchers will be available to discuss their latest work and findings. There is no charge for admission.
