Why would the police etc. be shocked? This sort of thing is an old tradition in central Europe every May Day. The apprentices would have a day to take it out on their bosses. Sometimes more in one place, or more or less in one year.

That was the title of this week's home news feature published on April 30th on the Swissinfo portal.
As they told readers in many languages about a 1,500 tradition of young people coming together in a public assembly and talking.
