Surely you mean "Islamist ". Do not offend People of any Religion.
Ireland continues to refuel this war. The silence is deafening. The opposition invisible.
The bombing was committed by a Muslim not an American.
The vast majority of those killed in the Iraq war have been Muslims killed by Muslims.
Ireland has nothing to do with this.
Your ignorance is displayed by thinking that terms "Muslim" and "American" are mutually exclusive. The U.S. invasion has everything to do with the incident this morning.
Most of the troops involved in this illegal invasion have transitted through Shannon Airport a likely target as this war expands. More likely is a packed morning bus in gridlocked O'Connel St.. These attacks on first world countries involved in the war happen in the morning (London, Madrid, NYC) while the security services are changing shift having their first coffee. So if you want to play it safe stay off public transport in O'Connel St. in the rush our. A better response would be to get active and get Ireland out of this war.
Before the Irish facilitated U.S invasion there was minimal jihadist terror in Iraq, there was an absence of suicide bombing. The Irish have brought terror - American at 30,000 feet and jihadist at ground level - to the peolpe of Iraq. The war has decended into a sectarian killfest - maybe this was the Amerikkkan agenda all along! These are artificial borders drawn up by Euro kingdoms imposed on a map - so the potential for a sectarian war to spread down the peninsuala and elsewhere is highly likely.
The contradictions are deep. The Saudi Royal family that occasionaly commute through Shannon are funding the Sunni resistance in Iraq which is also targetting the troops of their patrons the U.S. government.
One thing about a suicide bomber is that they are not recivdist like your average American bomber pilot who serial kills from 30,000 feet and is back on the aircraf carrier for lunch watching his DVD's in air conditioned comfort.

That still does not excuse their actions, stop trying to be an apoligist for terrorists/freedom fighters/cold-blooded-killers, whatever your choice of words, they are murderers no better than the occupiers, in fact worse, they are totally indiscriminate with no respect for law or order
"That still does not excuse their actions, stop trying to be an apoligist for terrorists/freedom fighters/cold-blooded-killers, whatever your choice of words, they are murderers no better than the occupiers, in fact worse, they are totally indiscriminate with no respect for law or order."
How could such a comparison be read as apologetics or an attempt "to excuse their actions"? A pacifist can compare a nuclear bomb to a musket with alligning themselves to either. Your hysterical response to such a comparison reeks of Bush/Cheney, if one enters the debate and ask questions means you are alligned..."if you are not for us you're against us". With the "indiscrimanate" killing of the U.S. invasion and occupation the pathetic mimicry of the occupied is predictable. The U.S. killing in Iraq is also indiscriminate. The difference is that in Ireland we are complicit in that killing by the continued refueling at Shannon. One thing a suicide bomber isn't is a "coward" as Bush suggests, the same can't be said of U.S. pilots up against neither an air force or a navy (although their are recent reports that the Sauds are arming the Sunni resistance with SAM's) or a "recividest".
What wasn't predictable was the total collapse of any anti-war movement in Ireland and the west. The IAWM didn't even make it down to Shannon at all this year as 1100 U.S. troops passed through daily! Now with the SWP's attentions directed towards (what looks like a successful) hijack of the Shell-to-Sea campaign for electoal purposes their will be even less anti-war activism in Ireland as we enter the new year. This apparently was similar to when the SWP (Britain) moved its attention to the hijacking of the Europeon social Forum in 2004, there was minimal anti-war response to the levelling of Fallujah at the time.
The Irish state, in maintaining our duplicity at Shannon, are willing to risk a similar attack to the one reported here in Dublin. The security forces see it as "inevitable". The population have abandoned citizenship and are busy shopping. There is no visible anti-war movement confronting power. It is a rump reduced to preaching to the choir at the occasional public meeting in a downtown hotel.
Nobody knows the religion of the bomber yet. At least not in Iraq. He has not been identified. Yet "Fran" seems to know something Iraqi police don't. In fact what he knows fits neatly into the US/UK/Zionist propaganda about Iraq. The present phase of lies.
Was the bombing this morning a US or UK terrorist operation? I tink so. Remember the Two British SAS men arrested in Basra on a bomb laying mission last year?

Was this another SAS job? Who cares when we have Fran to tell us it was "Islamic Lunatics". Well of course it was Fran, and Santa Clause is real.
The US hopes that by mounting such terrorist actions agaist Shia workers the backlash against Sunni militants will do their work for them. Until recently they were blaming attempts to cause civil war on "Al Qaeda" but have become silent since Ayman Al Zawahiri called for Muslim unity against the US and Israel.
This is undoubtedly the work of the US Army, the only true lunatics and terrorists in Iraq.
Victory to Iraqi Resistance and death to the Crusaders.

"It had been long known to the Iraqis, to the Arabs, and to all Moslems in countries bordering Iraq that the majority of the terrorist attacks in Iraq, especially car bombing, are perpetrated by covert British, American, and Israeli operatives." - Dr. Elias Akleh

Who claimed these were humble construction workers.?Objective reporters? There are none in Iraq. Media reports from Iraq variably emanate from statements released from the Green Zone. The same people who DONT tell us of the daily massacres carried out by Pro Government death squads. There is no Shia-Sunni conflict, there are Shia groups within the Insurgency and Sunnis within the police/army. The conflict is between those resisting and those collaborating. Chances are those killed in the car-bomb were carrying out work for American bases or part of one of the many pro Govt militias. All we have is a statement from the Green Zone, who would dearly wish to blacked the insurgents.
