Why do we fail to deport those whom we should deport? It's due in the end, says Dr David McGrogan, to an excess of pity. We are pitying ourselves into disorder and social decay. We need to be willing not to be nice.

Reform is favourite to win the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, overturning Labour's 14,700 majority. Why? It might have something to do with having the nation's third-highest number of asylum seekers, says Steven Tucker.

Is the War on Terror Bogus?

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Monday September 11, 2006 20:34author by Tony o bush - End of empire Report this post to the editors

No chemical vest, no ricin, no plots.

The War Party has lied all through this murder spree, yet many seem to take their word that a war on terror needs to be faught.

On the 10th of August the British police claimed they had foiled a terrorist plot to bring down as many as 10 planes travelling from the UK to the US; another plot in the ongoing War on Terror. Previous to this we had the Forest Gate incident, where police shot a 23 year old postal worker, whilst searching for a “chemical vest”. Then there was the erroneously named “ricin plot”. There was no ricin and no plot. The “suspects” in this plot were very quietly, cleared and released. The tragic events of 7/7 leave many questions unanswered as our leaders refuse calls for an independent public inquiry. The official story of 9/11 has been taken apart by many academics and journalists alike; although you need to be neither to identify the inconsistencies, half truths and lies in this version. .....
