Spain and Portugal?s Blackout Reveals the Achilles? Heel of Electricity Grids Dominated by Wind and ... Tue Apr 29, 2025 17:00 | Anonymous Engineer
The power outage in Spain and Portugal wasn't caused by extreme weather, but by an over-reliance on wind and solar. If the UK continues on its headlong path to Net Zero, we can expect similar failures.

An Excess of Pity: Why We Fail to Deport Those Whom We Should Deport Tue Apr 29, 2025 15:00 | Dr David McGrogan
Why do we fail to deport those whom we should deport? It's due in the end, says Dr David McGrogan, to an excess of pity. We are pitying ourselves into disorder and social decay. We need to be willing not to be nice.

"The security forces out there need more support on the ground allocating their resources to stop the sectarianism from grinding the country into civil war."
The UK-USA axis are there for the oil ... they couldn't give a fiddler's about the country grinding into civil war. In fcat that would play right into their hands. Easier to pump the oil out if the Iraqis have no stable governement of their own.
Never heard of DIVIDERE et IMPERARE, the motto of all great imperial powers ?
Sean,
You have a point there and fair play to Cindy for buying a plot of land to voice her concern next to Bush's ranch but it would also be a disaster for the Iraqi security sources out there now if the American troops were to suddenly leave the country. The poor country, as bad as it is, would effectively descend into chaos with the deepening sectarian divisions. The security forces out there need more support on the ground allocating their resources to stop the sectarianism from grinding the country into civil war.
"At the very least it shows, You were wrong sean, Doesnt it?"
No it doesn't !
He only asked a question:
"Could it be possible that the peace movement she heads paid for the land? And that this is the reason it could be bought."
At the very least it shows, You were wrong sean, Doesnt it? SPIN, spin, SPIN........
Ok, she used insurance money to buy the land - so what?
Bollocks to that, read how she did indeed finance the land purchase
Sam, this is not the first time I've seen this drivel that you've posted. Are you trying to say that the lenght of time it took to erect a headstone in some way suggests that Cindy didn't and doesn't love her son?
Maybe it would be better to suggest the massive ammount of time and effort that she has put into and is putting into her anti-war actions would be a much better reflection of how much she loved her son.
Could it be possible that the peace movement she heads paid for the land? And that this is the reason it could be bought.
If you must spin stuff Sam, please do a better job next time. Ambiguity helps for sure, but your's is very lacking in credibility. Please remember that the formula for successful spinning is:
Deceit + Ambiguity + Credibility = Plausibility = Spin.
The equation you've used is a derrivation and is substandard:
Deceit + Ambiguity - Credibility = Implausibility = Spin - Credibility.
Hmm. yes way to go, shame it took her so long to put a headstone on her childs grave, yet purchased this land so quickly.
even allowing for the size of Bush's Crawford Ranch Bunker (approximately half the size of Leinster) she should be able to pop off a few qaseem BBQ surprises.
