MemeWatch: 'Core Warrior Values Training'

The Pentagon pulls an Orwellian phrase out of its arse but its all just more CYA

'Core Warrior Values Training'

WTF?!

You see, without 'Core Warrior Values Training' miltary troops kill civilians.

No need to explain why killing civilians happens, nor the circumstances, nor the fact the war is totally fucked up to begin with, nor that the Troops are sent to do an impossible and immoral task, nor is there a need to explain what their commanding offiicers did or did not order, no need to talk about 'human rights' nor the Geneva Convention nor International Law, no need to talk about history and no need to talk about oil and no need to mention the taboo word occupation and no need to discuss if the US Congress or the President of the United States has a frickin' clue or any responsibility whatsoever for the 100,000+ dead Iraqis since the invasion - none of that needs to be discussed now - because, you see, the Troops didn't have 'Core Warrior Values Training'....

Media Analyisis Prediction:

'Core Warrior Values Training' will be the new phrase
(or some close variation thereof)

Just watch.... and I shall document...

Question: Do you think Donald H. Rumsfeld sees the blogosphere as a threat?

or as a tool?

Donald H. Rumsfeld speaks:
'Today we are engaged in the first war in history -- unconventional and irregular as it is
-- in an era of: E-mail, Blogs, Blackberries, Instant messaging, Digital cameras, A global
Internet with no inhibitions, Cell phones, Hand held video cameras, Talk radio, 24 hours
news broadcasts, and Satellite television.'

The U.S. military ordered coalition troops in Iraq on Thursday to undergo special training in ethics and "the values that separate us from our enemies" in the wake of allegations that Marines killed two dozen unarmed civilians in Haditha.
