routing ireland in the defence?

Ryanair, that company which so brazenly took one of the national emblems and built no less than an empire of precarity out of budget tourism, has come through scandalous criticism after scornful spite.

Ryanair, that company that favours precarious workers over secure contracts, from assembly line in Boeing USA, to airport staff in Reus.

Ryanair the company that charged disabled care workers for use of a wheelchair.

Ryanair whose advertising was proven lies.

Ryanair, the visigoths of european identity building, whose every flight stokes precarity and urban speculation.

Ryanair, the benchmark near "blue chip" stock for a generation of Irish finanicial students yet so long overweighted.

Ryanair, will allow a pilot to fly the route to Gatwick tomorrow (arguably this ought be in the events section)

tomorrow after the High Court heard today that he had passed another medical examination, this time on behalf of the Irish Aviation Authority's chief medical officer.

Mr Justice Barry White (a Judger of the Irish state) said he will rule next Wednesday on whether the airline's chief executive, Michael O'Leary, (the man in the photo) and two other senior members of staff were in contempt for not returning Mr Goss (the pilot of one of tomorrow morning's Ryanair flight Dublin to Gatwick) to work earlier.

Ryanair is again in the news today for threatening its pilots. readers will remember that Leary was let off the "contempt of court" jail-threat.
This is becuase he represents Ireland, a country of budget flyers, which until it is completely proven that global climate change is the fault of africans like Mugabe this week, has absolutely nothing to do with the rising cost of religion or subsidies on spanish farmers.

you get over 6,000 entries on the global network. Do not think this is an endorsement. It's just a sign of how many times people mention the name "ryanair" & just as often remember it represents "Irish capitalism". & so we read Michael O'Leary's thoughts on the "war on terror" & how alerts are bad for business on Vancouver Canada indymedia & that's why he allows you use a mobile. We read about Ryanair's role in union smashing in Oregon USA where he chose to use non-unionised workforces to build his fleet of the future away from EU workers' rights. We read about Ryanair's worker relations & union smashing on Spanish, French & Italian indymedia sites where they just can't deal with those same EU worker's rights. We read about Ryanair's O'Leary's contempt of court on Irish indymedia when yet another of his workers asked for those EU workers' conditions- Long ago when I started my "ryanair" threads we read about Ryanair's charging wheelchair users on both Irish and UK indymedia.

Every time Ryanair is mentioned in commercial media or national telly stations across Europe, it is generally as a result of some "publicity attention seeking stunt" & the words "Irish" are generally used. Everyone who has ever met a Ryanair passenger knows it's an Irish company. When Sinead Finn the European manager of Ryanair fraudulently calls a public meeting which then turns to affray & disorder, offering "free tickets" (which are in fact subject to lots of extra charges & tax) if a citizen of any city will publically criticise or libel a competitor - - - - -
as the Ryanair company did in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain September 4th 2006
c/f how they invited the public of Spain not just Barcelona on Monday http://www.levante-emv.com/secciones/noticia.jsp?pNumEj...78639
what happened next when they didn't have free tickets to give away

(if you don't read Spanish that's a cross section of news, editorial & economic pages of all political hues asking " how can a business overstep the line so?" & "what can we do about aggresive marketing"

What's going on?
Is that democracy "people power" marketing?
Is that like everyone holding hands like coke adverts?
or is that aggressive advertising at a near violent level?
Is that fair competition or fair trade?
Is inticing the public to assemble without previous organisation or notification of the municipal authorities - an act of anarchists? or an act of a responsibile company?
IS inticing them to attack on live tv with posters & interviews another company after it's own worker relation problems led to extra-ordinary industrial action ( to wit the occupation of an airport runway) a cry in support of those workers? ( who are already facing criminal proceedings for stopping an airport with traffic figures in the millions)
Is that good for the image of Ireland, her commerce & tourists abroad?

Do we like say "he's one of us that Michael O' Leary. A right little tiger in the jungle. Sure a Stingray wouldn't have what it takes to kill him."

Make no mistake, if Michael O'leary had started selling hashish instead of cheap flights, by now he'd be top of a pyramid of crack dealers on your local corner. Do everyone a favour. Leave Eire by bus or boat.
