China?s Climate Charade: A Green Fa?ade for Economic Supremacy Wed May 07, 2025 07:00 | Tilak Doshi
China's claim to 'climate leadership' is a geopolitical manoeuvre to counter Trump's narrative, not a pledge of emissions cuts, says Dr Tilak Doshi. Expecting China to join the West's economic self-sabotage is delusional.

But I'm puzzled. If SW is all for unity and a new alternative left why have you started a new anti racism campaign when there is a perfectly good one there already? Are you changing at all?
I find the article by the Sinn Fein "activist" offensive and unsocialist. If the SWPa re serious about building working class unity in Ulster then they will not include Sinn Féin as part of "the movement". Do the SWP sell their paper in protestent areas in Belfast?
The SWP also have an article in there about the Pope! I read a previous edition of the SW and I saw an obiturary for the Pope and he was praised as a fighter on behalf of the oppressed and in particular the Palestinians. SWP seems to be orientating to Catholics. They want to win people away from the "spirtual forfillment" of the RC Church to the movement.
Then we have the situation where Eamon McCann is advertising his election. Fair enough. But it says nothing about how McCann is not running in his strongest ward so that he doesn't win!! The SWP are not serious about intervention into the Working Class in Northern Ireland. They're a joke.
Is it in the issue advertised - just looked and couldn't find it.
It's on the page that says "debates in the movement". It's about the EU constitution. For working class protestants in Ulster there is a complete opposition to Sinn Fein. Those people attacked us over the years of the troubles with bombings and sectarian killings. They want to see a united Ireland in which Ulster protestants will be reduced to being second class citizens. Obviously the SWP have no consideration of this.
What do you reckon a vote for the SP is the way forward?
