Livewire publications presents MISFIT, the autobiography of an extraordinary man, Captain Jack White; founding member of The Irish Citizen Army, decorated war hero, revolutionary and propagandist during the Spanish Civil War.

Livewire publications presents MISFIT, the
autobiography of an extraordinary man, Captain Jack White; founding member of The Irish Citizen Army, decorated war hero, revolutionary and propagandist during the Spanish Civil War. Last published in 1930, this book has been out of print for 75 years.

MISFIT is not just a political journey but also the personal odyssey of an alternative thinker. A man tormented by his upper class roots and drawn from the dinner table of Lord Kitchener to the Tolstoyan communes of turn of the century England and onto the turbulent streets of lockout Dublin and the mayhem that was the Spanish Civil War.

You are invited to attend the Launch of the book on Weds, April 6th at 7.30 pm at The City of Dublin Working Mens’ Club, Little Strand St. D7 (Off Capel Street –opposite Nealson’s Pub. Robert Ballagh will assist in the Launch.
