DUP behind £26 million pound bank raid

category antrim | miscellaneous | opinion/analysis author Monday February 21, 2005 11:13author by chief cuntstable hugh odd bored Report this post to the editors

The PSNI have absolutely no evidence whatsoever that the DUP were behind the £26 million bank raid, just like they have absolutely no evidence that Sinn fein were behind it. But they might as well point the finger of blame at someone.

Loyalists did a dummy run in september, which was identical to the raid on the Northern bank in December, in which a bank clerk's family in Loopland road area of east belfast were taken hostage, yet the PSNI's are pointing their fingers at republicans.

The garda raids in Cork have yet to be proven to be connected to the £26 million Northern bank heist and are primarily in connection with laundering sums of money which are nothing to do with the Northern bank.

Just because Bertie and Blair wish and speculate that the money found maybe connected to the Northern bank, does not make it concrete or evidence. Wishful speculation is as yet not admissable as evidence in courts of law.

You may write me down in history,
with your bitter , twisted lies
You may trod me in the very dirt,
But still like dust, i'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you,
Why are you beset with gloom.
Cause I walk like i've got oil wells,
pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
with the certainty of tides.
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard.
Cause I laugh like i've got gold mines,
diggin in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
you may cut me with your eyes,
you may kill me with your hatefullness,
but still like air i'll rise.

Out of the huts of history's shame,
I rise,
Up from a past thats rooted in pain,
I rise,
Into the daybreak thats wondrously clear,
I rise,
Bringing gifts that my ancesters gave,
I am the dream and the hope of Slaves,
I rise.

THE 3 WORST KEPT SECRETS OF MODERN IRELAND

1.The leadership of IRA council comprises of 3 top named sinn fein leaders(there are no minutes taken at these meetings, so definitive proof is hard to come by)

2. The IRA robbed the northern bank(They travelled around nationalists areas faster than bertie looked up all the trees in north co dublin)

3 Santa Clause doesnt exist, discounting the fat man, wearing a balaclava laughing his way to bulgaria

If you think for one second that loyalists did the Northern Bank you dont know much about them.

If they had done it they would have,
Got caught/shot each other/ gone to the wrong place.

I heard the bank was about to be sold. What ever happened to that sale?
It's been under Unionist control since it's founding. Would a sale to a British multinational bank group change the politics of the bank? Might that be a factor in the bank robbery, or is it just about a sum of money and a gang of thieves?

I really hope all you foolish children who voted for nationalist/socialist Sinn Fein last election will learn their lesson. we got off lightly, you fuckin idiots with your romantic nationalist visions of hippy happy Gerry and martin civil rights and paddywhackery, you would have actually let these fuckin murdering lying bastards take the dail and trash everything that remains decent in this country.
Well now theyre getting stuffed, at last an end to the charade,
i just think its a shame theyre going down over a bank raid and not over all the people they have murdered and maimed and bullied and intimidated in all walks of life, north south and elsewhere, ceasefire or no ceasefire.
Tahnks be.

In the 1920's much of the IRA's funding operation was successfully moved into competing with Mafia and other organised crime gangs in the area of gambling.

This was a great success allowing el presidente to buy a newspaper, hospital consultants to gain the lifestyle they deserved and providing much needed employment and diversion for those who had become skilled in smuggling, illegal fundraising and propaganda operations.

Of course gambling is now such a world growth industry as other governments cottoned on and followed the free state in it's innovative co-option of black economy methods that we need a new industry.

This is the country that also invented duty free only 15 years after prohibition ended. There's a clue here.

Maybe we could legalise cannabis in Ireland.

Hopefully no-one else will cop on for a few years, this generations IRA can generate funds for some good cause, Daily Ireland can bring out a Sunday and Evening edition and we can lead the way once again in innovative solutions to refocussing the skills of our most patriotic entrepeneurs.

We can have nurses on reality TV testing the new crop each year, Noraid selling 10 spots of the ould sod in aid of the Irish Health System and give a whole new meaning to medical marijuana.

You know it makes sense. Lets roll a united Ireland.
