Arafat poisoned by Israel - "This time they got me..."

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Wednesday November 10, 2004 15:12author by Ali H. Report this post to the editors

A PA spokesman has claimed that chairman Yasser Arafat was poisoned by Israel

The PA has sent blood samples to the US and Germany to confirm poisoning.

President Bush replied that it would perhaps be best to leave Arafat's fate in the hands of the Almighty.

Sharon said that one should sometimes help Him!

Insiders say Arafat whispered to one of his long-time confidants just before being taken away to France: "This time they got me..."

The Israeli propaganda machine has gone into overdrive even alleging that Arafat is a homosexual suffering from AIDS in order to deflect the world's attention from the likelyhood that he was assassinated by Israel.

http://www.jnewswire.com/library/article.php?articleid=350

Israel has of course threatened to kill Arafat repeatedly and he escaped a total of 13 assassination bids, including three poisoning attempts, according to the Palestinian sources.

On the other hand Palestinian commentators have noted that a Mossad agent attempted to inject Hamas’s Leader Khaled Mashal with poison in the Jordanian capital Amman. The agent then was caught, and Israel was forced to provide Jordan with the antidote. Furthermore the former Algerian President Hawari Bomedian and a PFLP leader, Wadi’ Hadad also died in suspicious circumstances with similar symptoms to those of chairman Arafat. Wadi'a Hadad was poisoned in the late 1970s by a close aide who was allegedly recruited by the Mossad, although the official reason for his death cited at the time was cancer.

Israeli Industry Minister Ehud Olmert said on September 14, that "killing Arafat is an option Arafat cannot continue to be a factor in the Middle East scene. His expulsion is an option, his liquidation is another option. It is also possible to confine him to prison-like conditions," Olmert, who is also deputy Prime Minister, told Israeli radio at the time.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon threatened the same day to expel Arafat from the occupied Palestinian territories along with sheikh Ahmad Yassin and Abdul Aziz Al-Rantissi who were publically assassinated by the Israelis. Sharon even admitted personally supervising one of the two murders.

On several occasions Sharon raised the question in meetings of the defense cabinet of what to do with Arafat – Expel him? Eliminate him? After the terrorist attacks in the fall of 2003, the cabinet made a deliberately vaguely worded decision – to remove Arafat, since he was an obstacle to peace.

On April 14, 2004, as revealed by Sharon himself, he informed President George W. Bush that he no longer regarded himself held by his promise to Bush in their first meeting in March 2001 not to harm Arafat. President Bush replied that it would perhaps be best to leave Arafat's fate in the hands of the Almighty. Sharon said that one should sometimes help Him.

The media has already dismissed the these claims as mere conspiracy theories. In all fairness would you ever put this sort of action past the mossad or the isreali military. The Mossad have done nothing in their actions over the years to show they are anything short of a state sponsored terror organisation with zero regard for the sovernty of other nations and like their friends in the CIA regard human life as cheap

"President Bush replied that it would perhaps be best to leave Arafat's fate in the hands of the Almighty.

:))))))) Well said! Couldnt agree more.

Fact is that Arafat has blood in his hands. He was a terrorist during 70's and 80's personally ordering plane hijacking etc.

He is one of the main obstacles of peace in Israel. Lets hope he dies soon.

Youre right Arafat has blood on his hands just like Sharon, Bush, Blair, etc etc, etc oh yes the blood on their hands is legitimate and in the case on Bush and Blair you cant see it because of the oil!

Youre right, Sharon, Bush and Blair all have blood on their hands. But they have never been terrorists like Arafat was. They are politicians and sometimes they have to make diffucult decision and they have to use some military force. However whenever they use military force they are doing it openly and they respect laws of their country.

last night US tea time, showed President Bush and his wife visiting a US military hospital. Bush thanked the doctors and generals for running the hospital, and voiced his feelings of "being moved" to see the bravery of the men and women "who wear the uniform" and are "helping to allow democracy emerge in Iraq".
As he entered his car he was asked about Arafat.
his reply was - "heck I don't know, too many conflicting reports coming out of there".
Lovely man. You could imagine having a burger and fires with him followed by a bible chat.
He then went and met little José Maria Aznar for 40 minutes, you might remember José Maria he used to be president of Spain (for life) till the international judeo-masonic-red-anarcho-pacifist-queer conspiracy stole his election claiming he had lied to the world and his own media and contradicted everyone back in March. Mr Bush has yet to return the congratulation phone call he recieved on November 3 from the current president of Spain (for four years) Mr ZP.
CNN then, coz they know how to edit, quickly cut to ashort interview with Ariel Sharon, who despite sharing a name with a medieval demon, is in fact the prime minister of Israel, and between supressing the giggles, managed to sneer that the "things are very much better _here_" since Mr Arafat got his mystery illness which we all hope isn't catching at least for god fearing types.

Yitzhak Shamir founding member of the Lehi terrorist group (born October 15, 1915) was Prime Minister of Israel from 1983 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1992.

Lehi considered the British rule of Palestine to be an illegal occupation, and concentrated its attacks mainly against British targets.

A letter from Lehi offering to "actively take part in the war on Germany's side" in return for German support for "the establishment of the historic Jewish state on a national and totalitarian basis, bound by a treaty with the German Reich".

Lehi attacks:

* April 9, 1948 - Lehi and Irgun attack Deir Yassin (see Deir Yassin massacre).
* September 17, 1948, Lehi assassinated the UN mediator Count Folke Bernadotte. Bernadotte's insistence on the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes was the cause for his murder. The assassination was directed by Yehoshua Zetler and carried out by a four-man team led by Meshulam Markover. The fatal shots were fired by Yehoshua Cohen. Lehi leaders Nathan Yellin-Mor and Matitiahu Schmulevitz were arrested two months after the murder. Most of the suspects involved were released immediately and all of them were granted general amnesty on the 14th of February, 1949.

Quotation

"Neither Jewish morality nor Jewish tradition can negate the use of terror as a means of battle.

"...We are quite far from moral hesitations on the national battlefield. We see before us the command of the Torah, the most moral teaching in the world: "Obliterate - until destruction." We are particularly far from this sort of hesitation in regard to an enemy whose moral perversion is admitted by all.

"But primarily terror is part of our political battle under present conditions and its role is large and great:

*"It demonstrates, in clear language, to those who listen throughout the world and to our despondent brothers outside the gates of this country of our battle against the true terrorist who hides behind his piles of papers and the laws he has legislated.

*"It is not directed against people, it is directed against representatives. Therefore it is effective.

*"If it also shakes the Jews in Israel from their complacency, good and well.

"Only so will the battle for liberation begin."

-- He Khazit (The Front, a Lehi underground newspaper), Issue 2, August 1943. The italicised quotation is a combination of two Biblical references to the Amalekites, Ex. 17:14 and Num. 14:45: Utterly blot out their remembrance...and destroy them completely.

Western values must be defended! That is why it is better to endorse noble democratic leaders like Bush and Sharon. They wear the sort of suits endorsed by the west, and the modern tie that was invented in Croatia, which is a very Western values oriented nation.( especially during ww11/and the balkan wars!)

People like Arafat are poorer, browner, and more rag headed-er. Don't support them. Guys like him wear green army fatigues, the sort of fatigues bought in the Army Bargains' surplus basement reduced price gear.

They will never understand Western Values, not until the noble West intervenes. Then, after much stabilisation, the oppressed people under rag headed despots like Arafat and Hussein will finally be ready to share in the gift that is our consumer oriented society.

Until then, they will have to, unfortunatly, endure necessary irritants like daisy cutters and collateral, er, re-shufflement. Their history books in the future, though, will point out that this was a good thing that helped overcome longer term problems such as over population and chronic unemployment. This is because their history books will be written in the West then mass printed in China, thus creating more jobs.

If, on the other hand, future despots emerge from amongst our brown skinned brethern, the noble West will be able to rely on subterfuge, or, as a noble, western value oriented last resort, 'shock and awe'! Democracy is a duty, not a privilage.

This won't happen, though. Concepts such as 'revenge' usually run out of steam after a generation or two. Add MTV and shopping malls to the list, and don't forget the lap tops, you have got stabilisation! Well, at least that is the plan, anyway...it'll have to work, though, it is a Noble Western Plan! Not a five year plan like the commies had, nope sirree bob.

This is the Actual Future. Bee-leeeve it. Read the news everyday, the media will always agree with this statement.( Unless you are watching anti Noble Western ideologists like Al Jazeera)

(roll -'We Will Rock You' by Queen)

The Noble West- Offering everything; from Mozart to McDonalds, Orieos to Outsourcing.Oh, and democracy.

Amen

To the israeli elite words have much less meaning than life. We have the luxury of diplomacy in this country, try to understand armed resistance even if it can't be justified

Dont put all violence under the same umbrella sadly violence is an necessary evil for the struggle of basic rights for much of the oppressed in the world.

People do occasionally die of natural causes, you know -even famous people.

Of course it is POSSIBLE that Arafat was poisoned. But there is no evidence to believe this.

It is not as if its THAT surpsising that he died. He was old, and he had to go some time.

So please stop promoting crazy conspiracy theories.

by the time rasputin was chucked in the ice, poisoners had moved on from the usual interruptors of oxyhaemoglobulisation, to other neurological interruptors and inhibitors which indeed take a while to kick in.
anyway, as we all know, we could all lose our minds to free radical chomping in less than eight months from start to finish if and only if we ate one of those contaminated burgers.
I've a pal who stocked up on beef by the trolley loads the day after Gummer the Thatcherite minister for food in Britain force fed his daughter a burger on telly, just to prove that it was ok to consume the shit.
He has three years till he gets "all clear" the same with Gummer's daughter. I sometimes feel a wee bit guilty for goading my pal into doing it, (he came from a Thatcherite family) and we always good naturedly it must be said, took the piss out of each. [an example being how he sent me to a "glazier" interview in London's docklands the morning after Canary Wharf had been bombed.]
Anyways. The best poisons are very very slow an mimic normal endochronoligcal functions to provoke what appears to be endopic pathogenic growth or dsyfunction. Trust me on this.

I have seen many items talking about the Isrealis poisoning Arafat. I understand that the Palestinians are bereft at his loss - although I despised him. I have also seen articles claiming he was a homosexual who died from AIDS.

The truth? Who knows. Whilst I do not think it would be a good thing to ever let the Palestinians believe he was homosexual (even if he was) I think it equally wrong to let them believe he was poisoned. Neither will help the peace process, and nothing will bring him back.

At the end of the day he was 75 and if there is a God then he will do what he deems right with Arafat. And if there is not, well it does not much matter either way.

What does matter is just this. Either the Palestinians need to accept a 'no right of return' policy because Isreal could not survive and allow it, or the state of Isreal needs to cease to exist.

Until one of the above happens there will be no peace and no hope for the people involved.

I just thought I would say that.
