This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

We are asking you to hold a peace vigil at the Irish Embassy, Consulate or a site of significance in your town or city on June 25th. or 26th.
VIGIL DEMAND
The international vigils will be demanding the Irish Government withdraw Shannon Airport's provision of facilities to the U.S. military. The Irish government has transformed the civilian airport into the major pit stop for the U.S. war machine's invasion, occupation and plunder of Iraq. According to official figures, 125,855 U.S. troops have travelled via Shannn to the Middle East last year. For the last 18 months, an average of 10,000 U.S. troops have used Shannon as a transit centre to the Middle East.
WHY JUNE 25TH. OR 26TH.
On the evening of June 25th. George W Bush will be landing at Shannon Airport, County Clare. He is in Ireland for the latest EU (European Union) - U.S. summit to be held at Dromoland Castle on June 26th. Also present at Dromoland Castle will be the representatives of EU states involved in the war - Italy, the UK and Poland. On June 26th. Bush will leave through Shannon to fly to Turkey for a NATO summit.
NONVIOLENT RESISTANCE TO IRELAND'S ROLE IN THE U.S/U.K. WAR ON IRAQ
Also at Shannon on June 25th. & at the Dromoland Castle on the 26th. will be the activist Irish peace movement (www.antiwarireland.org www.ambush2004.org). In a recent public opinion poll, 67% of Irish people oppose Bush's visit to Ireland. Shannon Airport has been the site of effective nonviolent resistance to the U.S./U.K war on Iraq.
Two nonviolent disarmament actions by Mary Kelly (www.freewebs.com/mary_kelly/) and the Catholic Worker Pit Stop Ploughshares (www.ploughsharesireland.org) in Jan/Feb 2003 led to 3 private U.S. companies transporting U.S. troops to vacate Ireland during the lead up to U.S. invasion of Iraq. The U.S. Navy war plane en route to the war had to turn around and head back to Ft. Worth, Texas.
Other Irish peace activists arrested during nonviolent blockade and trespass actions at Shannn Airport have also been barred from Coutny Clare. Meanwhile, Donal Rumsfield has lead pro-war rallies of U.S troops within the confines of the airport. The trial of Mary Kelly begins on June 15th in Kilrush, County Clare. The Pit Stop Ploughshares await trial in Dublin, they all face a maximum of ten years imprisonment if convicted.

Last June their were solidarity peace vigils at Irish Embassies/ Consulates & sites of significance in Houston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Vancouver, Bishop Romero's tomb/El salvador, Dili/East Timor, Sydney, Wellington, Christchurch, Auckland, Berlin, France, Amsterdam, Bulgaria, Brussels, Ghotenburg, London, Glasgow, rural Wales, Belfast, Dublin as the Pit Stop Ploughshares face court in County Clare.

Anti war & SolidarityShannon was/is a big US air leap off point to Iraq just as Gander Airport in Newfoundland a fact not well known in the Canadian Peace Movement.
I have told Ciaron as part of the Irish Diaspora I would be there at the Irish Consulate on Friday June 25th at 12 noon at 1385 West 8th Avenue (if they've moved I'll find out and let you know asap).
This is a good opportunity for Canadian peace activists, anti-imperialists etc. to show concrete support for our brothers and sisters in Ireland who have undertaken an audacious, courageous and powerfully symbolic action to arouse the conscience of the Irish and world's peoples about the unacceptability of US imperialists using one's country as a staging base to launch brutal wars of aggression.
Please join me in a Vigil to Support the Irish Ploughshares activists as they battle in the Irish Courts to defend their right to sabotage US warplanes violating the Irish Constitution, world peace, Iraqi sovereignty and Irish dignity!

*Ken met Ciaron in the visiting room of Pecos County Jail, Texas following the first Gulf War.
Ken (60) recently completed a 6 month sentence for a trespass action at School of the Americas (www.soaw.org) Ft. Benning, Georgia. Ft. Benning is where many of the troops transiting though Shannon have their final combat training before departing the U.S.
Training at Ft. Benning includes prisoner treatment and interrogation techniques. The sniper who killed Bishop Romero of El salvador and the soldiers who killed the 6 Jesuits and 2 Salvadoran women 16/11/89 were trained at Ft. Benning.
Lt. Calley who was court martialled (serving 6 months in the brig) for putting 500 Vietnames in a ditch at My Lai and machine guning them has a jewellry store in the nearby town of Columbus. GA.

*Just spoke to Carmen he reports that
Fr. Dan Berrigan SJ (of the 1968 Catonsville Draft Board raids & the initial Plowshares 8 action at GE) was rushed to hospital very ill.
Dan is 83. He and brother Phil spent many years in jail for nonviolently resisting the U.S. war machine. Booby Sands requested they visit as he was dying. They came but the military would not let them in.
Over 1000 people turned up to hear Dan speak in Dublin in July 2002, where he called for the demilitarisation of the Shannon airport.
Dan was at last year's vigil and when the consul staff realised who they had shut out on the street, they invited him up. He gave them a Jesuitical berating about the obligations of being Irish and human when the demons of war have been let loose.
