There can not be war without capitalist telling politicians what they already know!

category international | anti-war / imperialism | opinion/analysis author Saturday May 08, 2004 06:44author by cat&dog Report this post to the editors

All wars have one common thing, war is not something you buy from store, it is something that grows in the nature we call capitalism and it is also a terrible tragedy to humankind and we cannot achieve peace without giving the necessary sacrifice building our anti-capitalist movement by saying no to guns and violence that keeps this world turning around and around like a hurricane that destroys all it can touch without leaving people noithing or verry little to say at least.

You can touch your private parts without hurting anyone exept yourselves ;) , you can grow beautiful flowers without hurting someone, but you cannot have war amongst the living things without destroying a beautiful dream we call socialism. This socialism is on our reach if we can just work it out with each other and unite this planet under one flag and fight together to achieve peace and socialism after capitalism is buried deep into the ground where it belongs and it will never resurrect i can promise you if we do a good job protecting this world from the powers of evil.

All the best ideas are often the ones that sound most weird, so do not jump to any quick conclusion. It is a proven fact that many peace deals have bean made under the influence of cannabis products and if this is the price of world peace then i say go for it. I remember the times..oops, i dont. Nevermind becfause the important thing is peace and not how it is being done thou i prefer socialist system with anarchist elements and our movement has to be the one to do it because no one else can they hace so little power. Weakness it is not a reason because we can unite with the world, be one, to be the rain that falls on men.

I have been using all kinds of stuff to open my mind and i have never ever been thinking more clearly than today. When i look around everything seems so absurd, little people trying to do little things instead of their inner revolution like i have. We must unite, we must stop the war. Please, if not for yourselves then for the children, they are the future, not us. I will travel thousand miles to get there but i will. I will see my dreams come true in a way that makes us all dream more and more and this will make it all worth trying. Thank you.

"......war is not something you buy from store, it is something that grows in the nature we call capitalism and it is also a terrible tragedy to humankind ....:"

UH --- true about not something you buy in stores and true war is a terrible tragedy to humankind but sorry, capitalism is not the CAUSE of war, cannot be the CAUSE of war. If that were true, then we humans would only have been fighting wars for a few hundred years, say 500 at the most, since "capitalism" is a relatively recent social development.

Might I call your attention to the historical and archeological evidence. I believe the oldest certain evidence we have for the antiquity of war is the fact that the first defensive town wall went up around the original site of Jericho about 7000 years ago. Which appears to have been inhabited by resonably egalitarian hunter-gatherers >

Near as we can tell, humans have ALWAYS fought wars with their neighbors, possibly as far back as we have been human, and certainly LONG before the first capitalist. Within a capitalist society, there will be capitalist reasons for war but that isn't saying much -- just that in a society of type X the reasons things happen will be related to X rathehr than to Y.

I am hopeful that if we ever achieve an egalitarian socialist society we can do away with the evil of inequitable distribution within our society. But I am not at all hopeful that this would eliminate the evil of war. I am afraid that our socialist society will manage to find perfectly good socialist reasons to fight wars with its neighbors --- notwithstanding the fact that I cannot imagine what these might be
