Dublin masked rioters inspired by Iraq's 'Comical Ali'

category dublin | summit mobilisations | opinion/analysis author Monday April 05, 2004 14:30author by Spitfire Mk III Report this post to the editors

"My feelings - as usual - we will slaughter them all"

Sinister masked gang use the words of ex Iraqi Minister of Information 'Comical Ali' to recruit members for Dublin City Riot.

Members all wear distinctive 'Dublin City Riot' gang colours and arm themselves with long sticks.

This shadowy group who hide behind masks, helmets, body armour and padding appear to be well organised. They hold regular meetings where they practice attacking and defensive moves to be used against their rivals.

It is even possible that they may be more dangerous than the wombles (trained by the PKK) We do not know what remains of Comical Ali's organisation, or how many of his supporters have joined DC Riot.

See subservise Comical Ali DVD here
http://www.comicalalidvd.com/

Hopefully some intrepid journalist like Deirdre Tynan, will be able to infiltrate this group so we may be able to judge the full extent of this threat.

Riot equipment such as 'flying discs' & 'flameproof aprons' can easily be purchased online ...

... these items are hidden amongst apparently innocent merchandise such as 'cute teddy bears'

Be aware however that teddy bears soaked in petrol can be deadly.

Thankfully the Gardai appear to be aware of this menace.

as you may have noticed the media is not picking up on humour right now.
would be useful to fax, phone & e-mail newspaper editors, the garda press office, the lord mayor and the dept. of justice asking for an explanation of thre coverage & clarification on any special garda powers, if any.

Some 'journalist' will probably select some quotes from the above which will be published in some 'newspaper' to add further 'proof' of the planned riot.

You may be working on the right lines, but some of the media idiots might take it seriously and print it as the truth. I was thinking of doing the same thing myself.

'Gutter journalism - Anyone can do it'
I am thinking of telling you all about the sinister godfather behind this. I have most of it typed out on my home computer. If you all behave yourselves all will be revealed tonight.

Who ever posted this is an idiot! Stuff like this even you think it is funny, is going to do nothing for the cause of May Day. What it will do is scare people away from Dublin streets because they think there is going to be violence. It is because of postings like this the trade union movement is doing nothing on May Day. We need as many people out on the streets as possible in a peaceful show of people power. This is not helping!

Protestor,
I'm finding your lack of humour rather scarey. Umm, [:bites nails:] maybe I shouldn't go out on the streets if there will be people like you around. []
