The legacy of Fianna Fail 's incompetence government will be inherited by future generations

We are drowning in rubbish -above and underground-its official.!

Todays 'Irish Independent carries some more of the horrendous facts relating to the jailing of decent T.D.'s and working people while the gangsters in and out of government carry on business as usual.

The shocking- if excellent- article in the Irish Independent(saturday/6th) by Treacy Hogan, entitled’the gangster waste operators who are dumping on our future’,- highlighting the widespread illegal dumping of domestic and toxic industrial waste throughout the country in places as far apart as Wicklow and Cavan,is yet another indicator of just how busy the elected councillors and T.D.’s of the present government have been in recent years.
Preoccupied with lining their pockets ; rezoning lands for their cronies;and sanctioning ‘one off houses’ in every beauty spot in the land ,-It has passed their notice that a vast organized Mafiosi/waste industry exists in all their backyards.
While they are now busy trying to screw both industry and householder alike for ‘rubbish’ revenues/stealth taxes etc. for purposes completely unconnected with waste disposal and to keep to keep their prodigiously wasteful ship afloat in government;-their intended victims in the industrial waste business are circumventing the charges and flouting the law with total impunity.
Ordinary citizens however, have less latitude in their options to avoid payment, and spend time in Mountjoy Jail, for peacefully protesting against the whole charade..
Your journalist clearly outlines a dismal legacy for our children’s children- courtesy of the ‘Soldiers of Destiny’, so called, now ensconced in Leinster House;
Wealthy Fianna Fail supporters , landowners and farmers alike, grown fat from polluting both the landscape with ‘one off rural houses;-and the very soil and water underneath such properties- with toxic waste.!
I can only say that the good people of this Island deserve the government they re-elect –and all the consequences of their greed and self serving policies-if they triumph at the polls next June.

Furthermore I say that any citizen who ,despairing of the widespread corruption and environmental despoliation of their native land, refrains from casting a vote,- deserves to be disenfranchised.!

FF have turned INCOMPETENCE into a veritable art form, paid billions of Euro into the public service Unions with little or no return (the benchmarking scam) and 'dirtied' any sort of international reputation, the Celtic-Tiger ever gave us, through, never-ending Tribunals that almost promote white and blue collar Crime (Lawlor, Burke, Flynn, Mc Sharry, Etc. Etc.)

The really sad fact about all this is there appears to be no alternative!

Sincerely,
Jack Feeney - Author.

Pat Rabbite had it in one ,when referring to our cute hoors(Fianna Fail) in Leinster House,he declared;'They have bought the people with their own money'
Thanks to the I.D.A. and a boom decade, the country is awash with cash . Stealth Taxes are tolerated, corruption in government is only an expensive side show, and the rich grow fat as pigs for market.
Enjoy ..Bertie, Pee Flynn,Liam,Ray, and all you other single minded avaricious spalpeens in local government...and your mentor Charles J...some day soon you will all answer to a higher Court of Judgement ..than that of the fat cat tribunal circus that is currently bleeding the country dry ...to little or no effect .

the fact that there are more greens and Shinners in the Dail is indicative of something, and it has nothing to do with getting nowhere. The only way you guys will keep your votes is the fact that you hold the source code for electronic voting. People voted you c*nts in when we were still booming economy wise. That was four years ago- and they say a week is a long time in politics!

Oh, and posting arrogant rants like that will ensure more young people register their vote to get you pricks out.

I'm a benter leftists- I have mixed views, I am not an anti capitalist. So, I will concede FF have done a good job on the economy, but so did the Rainbow coalition when they were in charge. Thats what governments are supposed to do.

I will vote against your party though. Why? Not because I am some stereotype your mates at the Sindo would paint me as; tree hugging hippie with a placard for each day of the week.

No, I'll vote against your stupid party for many reasons. I will vote against your party because of Shannon and the glib bypassing of our constitution.

I'll vote against you because of Charly McCreevy's hacking of the Freedom of Information Act.

Carrickmacross and now Tara-what the fuck is that? Another reason that is what.

Where is our Ombudsman (ie; relating to the Gardai)? You have never yet delivered on that, and I do not believe you will. Reason number 4.

You are not giving us, the voter, any say on E voting. I will have to do my best to try vote against you scumbags on them machines, but I am wary. People from your party are proven liars, I do not trust you, and this is the way I have to cast my vote.

But please walk round public like you are now. Please go up to the poor ares of Ireland, where a great number of people face homelessness because of your cutbacks in social welfare. Tell them they are ALL wasters and scroungers. Hopefuly then you will be murdered. That would be a funny day.

Just imagine the life we would be living if the Left-Wing got into power! We wouldnt be worrying about the futility of Bin-Tax - our whole nation and its economy would just disapear down the drain!! "The Soldiers of Destiny" have brought this country to the forefront of Europe and indeed the world! The left wing in society are nothing! All opposition to Fianna Fail is a joke! Fianna Gael - no longer exist! Fat Rabbitte and his merry bunch of wana-be's are just a pharce and Im not even going to recognise the existence of the greens and the Socialist Workers Party - so sorry to hear about Greece - maybe theres a chance for some progress in that country now!!! So we at Fianna Fail will carry on leading this country indefinately - certainly no pathetic sites such as this one or "protests" where freedom of speech etc is only extended to the Socialist agenda is entertained! You guys make me laugh - cus the longer you are around the longer we in Fianna Fail is going to carry on leading this great country forward! The people spoke two-years ago! The people will speak on June 11th - but the result doesnt matter - cus no matter what you guys arent getting anywhere!!!!

Don't think so, unless you are referring to LG and Euro elections. Bertie's boys have a few years left to run yet, more's the pity.

I don't think incompetence is the problem with the govt. Everything they do they do to enrich themselves and their pals .And they seem to be making a good job of it.
