BlackPope detained AGAIN

category national | anti-war / imperialism | press release author Wednesday January 21, 2004 18:08author by Anti-War 'Internal Security' Communiqué - oirish anti war movement Report this post to the editors

Suspected turncoat will now face the White Noise

A man who has for some time been under suspicion of collaborating with the State against War Activists was finally caught red-handed yesterday - here is the breaking story:
In what is for many perhaps an unsurprising development, this shadowy hate-figure known only as 'BlackPope' was seen to enter the Hynes Building in Galway (a major State cash-dispensing institution).

there is getting arrested and there is setting out to get yourself arrested. The guys a fool who sees being arrested as a badge of honour. It in some way backs up his self styled image as being a pope of anarchy. His followers must think "That guy is so great the cops are always on his case" Well I have news he is not great, the cops are on his case because he wants them to be.

Obviously liberals (probably influenced by foreign ideas) are paying pacifists to make the hard job of running the state for the benefit of George Redmond and the eFFers harder than it already is.

Time to privatise the Social Welfare.

The above comment from mister 1 editor just about somes it up.
"Personal abuse is not allowed on the newswire"
Could you care to explain why the top comment titled "Pope is a fool"has not been removed? Is fool an acceptable form of abuse?
In that case the Indymedia editors are fools.
Now you can't knock that off can you!

I think in the opinion of the poster the pope is a fool. He backs it up with allegations that he does it for the publicity. If someone were to get arrested for the sake of it then I think it would be right to call him a fool. I don't really see 'fool' as a real insult. A real insult would be something personal like his 'mother is fat' or 'he molests goats'. (Obviously not true)

Indymedia does not forbid criticism, even harsh criticism, as long as it is backed up by argument. The leading comment, although in my opinion terribly arrogant and ignorant, at least tries to make a case.

Your deleted comments, on the other hand were nothing but base abuse without so much as an attempt to justify it. They do nothing other than show what a moron you are and so you should be happy to have them deleted.

After three days of intense physical torture, the GAW inquisitors shifted to psychoterror in a desperate attempt to break the BlackPope. In this foto he contemplates a celestial vision during a smoke-break from the rigours of interrogation.

He was then subjected to White Noise - a loop-tape of Richard Boyd-Barret's greatest speeches - over a four day period, whilst being softened up with the old Galway truth-serum, a.k.a. "Buckfast and Spliff Cocktail".

However, the plan backfired badly - BlackPope laughed so much his stitches almost bust, and his only confession was to repeatedly bellow "more truth-serum, ye's barsterds ye's!" and "bring on the Kieran Allen tape, fuck-witts!"

GAW's whole stash of Bucky and grade-A Lebanese Gold was eventually exhausted by the voracious BlackPope, who was then expelled from the safe-house pending the arrival of fresh stocks.

A GAW bat-man said that a vote will be taken at the upcoming Security Council meeting on Jan 31st to decide whether to further expend precious chemicals or to conserve supplies by banishing BlackPope back to the Nether regions north-east of Ardee.

God bless 'im, but the Black Pope is one mean baaad arsed mothafuka with what seems to be a fondness for Bucky and primo gear - If the Irish Anti-War Movement had an army of his ilk, we would win the peace overnight.?
