20,000 die in iran

category national | miscellaneous | opinion/analysis author Saturday December 27, 2003 14:38author by angry Report this post to the editors

20,000 die and we sit back and are what we criticise.

I haven't been on indymedia in the last 4 days and was really surprised whan today I saw nothing about Iran. We are all guilty of doing one of the things we criticise about corporate media --putting western lives above eastern lives. Its pretty bad that we didn't even acknowledge the greatest humanitarian disaster in the last few decades . Sometimes we are just as Eurocentric as they are. Shame on us
