The Truth About Britain?s Wildfires Thu Aug 21, 2025 15:00 | Paul Homewood
It is simplistic to blame the recent spike in wildfires on climate change, writes Paul Homewood. A more likely cause is the rewilding of uplands, supposedly to cut carbon emissions, and poor management of forested land.

Lucy Connolly and Ricky Jones: the System Worked as Intended Thu Aug 21, 2025 13:00 | Nick Rendell

The Guardian, of all papers, has acknowledged that predictions about the disappearance of Arctic sea ice may ? just may ? have been exaggerated. Paging Gore Vidal: Can we have that prize back please?

The Climate Change Committee's Fifth Carbon Budget, produced 10 years ago, got its predictions about the price of gas in 2025 and the price of renewables predictably wrong, says Ben Pile.

I'm sure they "regretted" it, but in "the context of armed struggle..." blah, blah, blah...
Indymedia needs a reprobate section, youse can go and hang out there with the likes of North Korea fan, or Stalinism today...
that was abu nidal & co who murdered mr klinghoffer.
They pretend to talk sense, we pretend to listen...
Dunnes getting around Israeli boycott? Wrong avi H. 5:59pm D14
UN calls for Israeli nuclear disarming Incentive schemes avi H. 5:57pm D14
IRSP: Solidarity with the PFLP Same old, same old avi H. 5:53pm D14
IAWM statement on Saddam arrest Yeah, yeah, yeah avi H. 5:51pm D14
How do you do it?
Avi is paid to do this ... he's an IDF spook ... nobody in their right mind pays much attention to him ...
But it can be highly entertaining to watch him wage his one-man Mossad-financed crusade against Irish anti-semitism ..................
They've been keeping a watchful eye on us ever since it became clear that De Valera was soft on the Nazis .....
I think it says something about the delusions of grandeur on Indymedia that people think Mossad is spying on us.
Well now "spying" might be too grandiose a word for it ....
Let's say just good old fashioned routine surveillance and intelligence gathering ....
What is so unusual or even delusional about that ?
Every intelligence agency has to keep a watch on what is going in in the world and it is hardly going to dent the Mossad budget to pay a few trolls to spend their time scanning selected Internet sites, monitoring "anti-semitism" and posting counter propaganda .... it's basic run of the mill back-office stuff not high-power glamourized espionage a la Hollywood or James Bond ....
In that context indymedia.ie is nothing special just one typical sounding board for "radical" opinions in the anglophone "British Isles" zone which could easily end up on a list for routine monitoring .......
Nothing else gives a plausible explanation as to why an Israeli like Avi would spend so much time trolling on indymedia.ie ..... trying to teach us to see the error of our "anti-semitic" ways ............
He's also quite active on indymedia.uk where he posts under the name of Avi Harari ..... constantly indulging in his usual self-pitying moaning that nobody cares about Jews .....
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2003/03/55688.html
but every morning theres these 2 guys in a car outside my house, and they are eating bagels with lox and reading the jerusalem post.
Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine? F**king spliters!!
but wrong on all counts
On all counts?
On some maybe, but not on all Mr. Avi Harari ..... Before you adopted the abbreviation Avi H. you used to post here also as Avi Harari.
See for example:
http://www.indymedia.ie/newswire.php?story_id=18870
And in those bygone days you even used to supply an e-mail address ..... but I guess you decided to stop doing so because your mailbox was filling up with "anti-semitic" hate mail ...
Even in cyberspace we leave tracks behind us .....
