the warlords of pez played about 20 songs in an hour at the village on saturday and it rocked.

pure madness- brilliant, the most refreshing, funny gig in a long time, possibly ever??
warlords of pez- soon to be rulers of the world- be very afraid
warlords of pez- soon to be rulers of the world- be very afraid

to begin a bloke in a white doctors overalls gave out flyers for the "sexy mass to resurrect deepspace donkeybite" he was the band mameber they "murdered at halloween because he was "such an annoying prick to hang around with"

the responsorial psalm was

get up owra dat deepspace
lest you may rock us again
get up owra dat deepaspace
we know you`re only coddin`

7 blokes, all in masks- giraffe, piggy....., pez red triangles- ???

other classics from the night were, FIB (full irish breakfast), do the zombie, derek davis, and the classic -padre pio.

you can watch this one free on their website
http://www.warlordsofpez.com/video/bigwebpio.html
it explains why the red and white pigeon towers (the focal point of dublin?) are there

the burning question is - will they take over the world with their music madness- and if so what kind of world will we live in then

part of imc-oxford collective to imc-dalek

imc in general could expand, that was one of the main driving forces behind imc-ox, who worked with undercurrents.
ie get more people invovled and using this resourse.

not news- news is whatever you want or are into- depends on way you present it perhaps?

who uses imc at present
more importantly who does not

ie
http://www.indymedia.ie/newswire.php?story_id=62435

big talk re IMF, WTO, post cancun talk and where to from here.

despite many attemts to find out more, get more people invovled, etc
imc still slow on uptake

is it a clique??

if people believe in whatever stuff they are into- great
but really trying to be as effective as possible matters

imc could do more
im not sure why it/ you are so closed at present

perhaps im a bit impatient.?

You are posting about one of your favourite bands doing a gig. Its not connected in any way whatsoever with any news item. Is it OK if I put up an Iron Maiden review after tonight's gig in the Point please?

There are loads of music sites around for this stuff to be posted on. Go to the boards.ie music board or one of many yahoo groups to discuss it there.

Its very difficult to get people involved unless they genuinely want to. Lots of people have come to meetings over the (two) years and drifted away simply because they just werent into it. Which is fair enough. Its not a "clique", it never has been and never will be, pretty much anyone if they decide can become an editor if they do a small bit of work and help.

Do you really have to share your night-out experiences with us?

I think the sultans are shite. Self-indulgent, dressing up and playing with your mates, like a bad pantomime - load of toss.

Also, please stop lecturing people on Indymedia. It's the worst way to get people involved.
