tels more about the THINKing and the DOing behind the FUSPEY idea
creativity is a very powerfull tool for change, we are trying to use art to communicate and to challenge (in a non-violent way)

recently the FUSPEY network came together in oxford brookes university, it evolved from the "Oxford Brookes Peace Network" which worked with other networks to try to prevent the illegal war in iraq by the US and britain.

"All of us must have the courage to stand up and condemn what is wrong." is a quote from nelson mandela, speaking recently in galway, ireland.
http://www.indymedia.ie/newswire.php?story_id=60133 is more on that

earlier this year we organised a week of events, talks, film screenings
FUSPEY week @ Oxford Brookes University
Gipsy Lane campus, Headington road
Monday 12th – Sunday the 18th may 2003

Brookes university media unfair
due to whatever reasons? corporate control of uni, pro war sentiment, apathy???
Brookes university media choose not inform its students of the society that “has been doing most in the uni”

we put our first film online its 35 seconds of sound and vision

some of the projects we are presently working with are
EASA (euroepean architectural students assembly)
ECO CITY GROUP
Indymedia
World Bank Boycott
Ecotopia
Oxford Brookes Peace Network
the next major one will be "sustainable living", through EASA, whereby 400+ students, eco builders, artists will live in a freestate in denmark and do a 2 week workshop, we are in the process of setting up the FUSPEY workshop.
http://www.geocities.com/fuspey/FUSPEYexisting_projects.html is the link to those projects

the first FUSPEY lecture was delivered in September 2002
it has been since delivered in Dublin, Oxford, Denmark, Bosnia,
these were all public, some were from architecture and art departments

The basis of the lecture consisted of presenting recent changes in technology and worldview that has resulted in the paradigm shift we are now going through in world history; The next renaissance or even more than that, another major REVOLUTION in perception and action. We are now living in the NETWORK AGE.

We don’t have the answers yet, but we have started to ask the right questions
