We're a week away from the most painful Budget in history thanks largely to the eye-watering cost of lockdown. Yet Baroness Hallett says next time the Government must be ready to go harder and faster. This is insanity.

It's bad enough that all UK TV users are forced to fund the BBC via a TV licence. But it's worse than that, says Charlotte Gill: millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are handed to the corporation via backdoor channels.

March 2024 Referendum explained in just over 10 minutes -Why You Should Vote No

category national | public consultation / irish social forum | opinion/analysis author Thursday March 07, 2024 21:52author by indy Report this post to the editors

This video by lawyer Una McGurk explains what the March 2024 two referendums are about and why you should vote No.

#thefamily #votenono #irishlaw

Basically these changes give no additional rights and do nothing for the public but what they do is take away rights. Interesting the phrase "durable relationships" which they want to insert are not even defined and can and will be interpreteted by the courts

So why did the government rush the legislation through blocking any proper debate and scrutiny. They are not known for doing things for our benefits but for the corporate sponsors

This rule also has massive implications to inheritance and who in a "durable" relationship is now entitled to inheritance

Michael M Dowell -former attorney general has created the Lawyers for No campaign too

And the results are the referendum was defeated with 67% voting No

The turnout was relatively high for a referendum at 44.4 %

The only areas with a strong Yes vote were all the middle class woke constituencies which just goes to prove the point that the middle class are the most propagandized group of people. Everywhere else it was firmly rejected as people saw the ruse for what it was.
