Mountain Meitheal: Volunteer Work Day to Restore a Section of Trail at the 'Miners Village' near Glendalough, Wicklow

Last day of this particular project

Our next work day in Wicklow will be SATURDAY 02nd MAY 2015 in Glendalough which should be our last day on this project. If you are a regular volunteer we are looking forward to seeing you out again. If you have recently joined our mailing list why not come along and give it a try? We will be repairing the track at the Miners Village in Glendalough. If you can’t make the next work day, the dates for 2015 work days for Wicklow are listed below.

Those interested in joining Mountain Meitheal or renewing their membership should contact Membership Sec. at sparkysue@gmail.com. Non members please note that insurance is only valid for three work days after which it is necessary to become a member. Application Forms and Membership Renewal forms are available on our web site.

DIRECTIONS:

Meet at the Visitor Centre in Glendalough for car pooling at 10.30am sharp.

Come prepared for a day in the hills, be prepared for all weathers, for safety and comfort wear appropriate footwear. A pack lunch is advisable including a hot drink. A change of clothes is recommended for the homeward journey. For newcomers wearing denim is not a good idea. Bring gardening gloves if you have them otherwise they will be supplied.

Mountain Meitheal will provide tools. Why not bring a friend? – new comers are always welcome.
