I've just seen on facebook that thousands of protesters were out in Galway city today to protest at water charges. Great to see people can mobilise but more frightening and urgent is how our climate is changing & that Galway city along with many other areas may be permanently underwater unless we act together.

In Sept only 50 protesters turned up to a climate change we need to show we care please come to Eyre Square tomorrow 1pm to show your support.

This is a follow-on march from the hugely successful Global Climate March organised by Avaaz, a web-based 'campaigning community'. The Global March saw over 600,000 people marching world-wide on 21 September.
