A month after the arrival of Scotland's Hate Crime Act and it appears reports of the demise of the Scottish Enlightenment may have been premature, no thanks to the SNP but due to the doughty spirit of the Scots.

The Judiciary - An Ordinary Person's Perspective

category dublin | crime and justice | opinion/analysis author Friday November 16, 2012 07:08author by Carolyn Lambert - Indy Authorauthor email CarolynALambert at hotmail dot com Report this post to the editors

A Memoir based in Dublin, Ireland

This is the memoir of an Ordinary Person. A memoir that:
spans from December 2006 to May 2011;
describes the author's struggle against an "alleged" constructive dismissal by one of Ireland's leading law firms;
tells of the author's challenge to the Employment Appeals Tribunal to remain impartial;
outlines the author's application to the Legal Aid Board to provide assistance;
questions the validity of the Courts' Customer Service Strategic Plan, the internal systems and the treatment of people who cannot afford legal counsel; and
gives an account of the author's challenge to the Law Courts when she self-represented agains the Firm.

It is the story of a system that is protected by self-regulation and the separation of powers and which has thrived because of the unwritten Code of Practice.

It is the story of The Judiciary - An Ordinary Person's Perspective.

The book is available through Amazon in the US and will be available through Amazon UK on 2nd December. It is a story that needs to be told.

The copyright of this book is protected.

Congratulations I look forward to purchasing it.

The silence and non analysis of this area screams out for justice and the disinfectant of sunlight ie publicity

Thanks so much, Mick. It was a tough book to produce, and an even tougher one to get into print. I tried to get Irish self-publishers to print it for me, but they all decided they were too frightened to get sued. The fear the Judiciary has put on ordinary people needs to be recognised. The story is a real life story, and I hope when you read it, you will send me your comments. I am looking forward to hearing them.

Love to hear your comments, guys. I have had a lot of reviews from non-Irish people, and the Irish people who have read it have told me that it's "very Irish". Would love to hear more, though.

Thanks so much. Carolyn Lambert

"And, in a more general way, so much for all the hypocrisy and corruption which underlies the outward appearances -- and the empty words -- of the most senior members of the legal and medical professions of the Republic of Ireland."

"With specific reference to the almost UNBELIEVABLE lack of Government Accountability in the Republic of Ireland ..."

The excerpt just above is from the following Human Rights Ireland www page address:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/ChiefJusticeSusanDenh...ppeal

The word "Government" in the paragraph immediately above is meant to include all three of the main branches of the Republic of Ireland's Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial): and particularly the JUDICIAL BRANCH, in connection with the crucially important matter of it ensuring the responsible enforcement and upholding -- AT ALL TIMES -- of Article 6.1 of Bunreacht na hEireann, which is the legal principle that lays at the very heart of the SUPREME LAW of the REPUBLIC of Ireland.

The words of Article 6.1 of Bunreacht na hEireann (the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland) read as follows (in full):

"ALL powers of government, legislative, executive and judicial, derive, under God, from THE PEOPLE, whose right it is to designate the rulers of the State and, in FINAL appeal, to decide ALL questions of NATIONAL POLICY, according to the requirements of the COMMON GOOD."

EPILOGUE

"Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray ... that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth."
