OLTREMARA CONCERT

presents
OLTREMARA CONCERT

Oltremara's vision is to introduce the Mediterranean's musical and
folk heritage to a new audience and to create a cultural fusion of the
traditional music, song and dance of Southern Italy and Ireland.
Everybody is welcome to join us and dance, or even just watch and
listen to the music.
People are introduced to the music and will be free to dance as they
like.
Fun and socializing will be the purpose of these events.
It is a good occasion to experience this new artistic workshop.

ALL EVENTS ARE VIDEO AND SOUND RECORDED, as part of the CULTURAL
ARCHIVE policy and participants agree to for their image to appear in
SHE-D archives and publications. Soon some of the outlets of the four
years activity, from the three experienced spaces, will be available,
together with the new website. You will be able to enjoy then the past
experiences, even if you missed them.
Participants and artists agree to leave a copy of each sound/photo/
video recorded material produced by them for the same scope.

INFO
OLTREMARA
Oltre...the Italian for beyond or over, Mara.....the Irish for the
sea.
The band members, Eliana, Antonella and Gerry, met in Ireland by
chance and all of them come from different musical and dance
backgrounds. Inspired by traditional dance and ancient folk tales, all
of the band's songs reflect their cultural heritage
while experimenting with new sounds to bring a fresh and exciting
experience to their audience.
