The Budget announced today the 07/04/2009 by finance minister Brian Lenihan is an absolute disgrace and it is nothing more than the administration in Leinster house looking after its own interests".

"The Budget announced today the 07/04/2009 by finance minister Brian Lenihan is an absolute disgrace and it is nothing more than the administration in Leinster house looking after its own interests".

"In the budget Brian Lenihan announced that the pain has to be spread across the board, but what he didnt announce was that it was a Brutish and Violent budget that has in effect killed Santa for many familys in the 26county state".

"Brian Lenihan in all his glory has introduced draconian measures and by doing so he has sealed his faith and his partys faith in the upcoming Local elections".

"Cutting Jobseekers allowance down to E100 per week for those under twenty years of age is an absolute disgrace, not being content with this he has targeted those who depend on rent supplements to keep a roof over there heads".

"The childcare supplement is to be halved at the moment with it being abolished by the end of 2009. In total this works out at roughly 48per month per child between now and January 2010,how does he expect single Mothers and Fathers to bring children up on this?"

"And to top it all of he has,in one foul swoop killed of Santa Clause for many familys who depend on there Christmas bonus to get threw the Christmas holiday period".

"The Fundamental fact of this budget is,it will directly effect those in the working class bracket and on those who are most needy,it also bails out the banks once again and it also looks after Fianna Fáils interests, there is no pain sharing in this budget and there is no compasion being shown to the people who suffer the most".

"I call on all the people of Kells to take a stand against this failing Government and to bycott the Fianna Fáil election machine as it starts to make its way around the doors coming up to the Local elctions".

"Mark my words, there will be widespread civil unrest and there will be widespread poverty and homelessness because of this Budget".

"Shame on Fianna Fáil and shame on Brian Lenihan".
