?Positive? Discrimination is Putting Lives at Risk Mon Apr 28, 2025 13:00 | Daniel Fessahaye
There is no such thing as 'positive' discrimination. And when it creeps into life-or-death professions like policing or flying a plane, it stops being merely unjust. It becomes dangerous, says Daniel Fessahaye.

the scene of the CRIME
Well Calderon was inaugurated today, HW Bush attended on behalf of the North Americans.
There was some heckling by the Obrador wing-

Oaxaca is being repressed and put-down,
because of the electoral 'interests' , no-one had advocated for the ordinary people.
Calderon wants it to go away.
Obrador has not said anything really.
Ruis is impeachable .

'Paramilitaries invade and pillage Zapatista Land, We will Defend Mother
Earth'.
It is attatched to the Calderon inauguration as a reminder of what
generated the violence; and the Mexican Presidential vote.
Felipe Calderon has not addressed the murders and dissappearances
in Oaxaca, nor the overwhelming evidence against governor Ulises
Ruis. He was Inaugurated in a locked room in the presence of
daddy Bush. he is also building an apartheid wall against his own
people in the region.
Numerous editors, writers, web designers and the indymedia film
maker Brad Will have died in the struggle between globalisation
and the indigenous communities in Mexico. Will was shot by
mercenaries of the type that are now invading the indigenous lands.

US congress demands answers in murder of Brad Will (RIP)
and an end to the impunity of Human Rights Violations in Oaxaca.
[Felipe Calderon has not done anything about the mercenaries
in Oaxaca who have been responsible for the dissappearances of 98
people, the murders of 95, the repressions of the media and the massacrres
in the Chiapas community, his regime was endorsed by Pere Bush]
There is enough evidence to impeach Governor Ulises Ruis.

US Border Fence Protrudes in to Mexico:
The Rabbit proof fence is illegally planned, Felix Calderon has ignored both this issue and
the congressional inquiry into the murder of Brad Will in October 2006.
Tourist season is coming to Oaxaca and Governor Ulises Ruis is still not impeached.
Of course daddy Bush attended the inauguration (behind locked doors), so the Mexican
presidency is legitimated by the neo-cons, who like to have a toe hold in south American.

[The photos and comments above show the inaugural images and the violence when
the Mexican Parliament split]
The links and piece above here contains the images of Felix Calderon's accession to Power,
in case anyone needs reminding , it happened in a locked room and the Bush family was
represented by George Bush I. The elections were followed by a seven week shut down
in services in Mexico City, the brutal put-down of the Movement for Change in Oaxaca
and the murder and disappearances of hundreds of activists with political connections..
The mainstream media, with the honourable exception of the Guardian Largely ignored
the issue and even they did not name Brad Will when he was murdered.
Calderon went on to complete the apartheid wall and trade agreement talks with Bush
and has refused to impeach Governor Ulises Ruis. The Bush Regime, which fancies
itself democratic, in the meantime is turning a deaf ear to the Will family and pushing
for closer 'Trade links ' with the leaders in the 'Americas'.
This is humbly termed the SPP.
http://www.indymedia.org/or/2007/08/890877.shtml
The NVDA/ Political activists are dubbing it 'NAFTA on Speed'. The media ,who
never tire of appeasement and beligerence are calling it 'The Three Amigos"
conference. Details in the indy link above.
Ruis is being shadowed from NYC to Dallas. [and the protest trail is on the global
network which is on the right hand column of the 'open newswire' page]. It is amazing that
people not alone line up to be photoed with the chimp but accept the Globalisation
of their societies. the Other leader is prime minister of Canada- Harper- and the meetings
have been occuring in Quebec. Irish Times and the Broadsheets are covering.
The comment above had links to the coverage of the Visit of George Walker Bush to
Quebec to initiate the SPP (NAFTA on Speed) talks with Stephen Harper (Canada)
and Felix Calderon (whose election provoked a locked door inauguration with George
Bush's Daddy witnessing).
The broadsheets are referring to the Alliance of the 'Americas' as a meeting of the
'Three Amigos Conference'. The Link:-

{ Vincent Fox, like Alan Greenspan is profiting from the new 'Bush-bashing' of
ex-allies to hock his books, but the Brad Will protestors are not buying it.}
Felix Calderon who is in league with George Bush and Quebec's Harper to advance the
economic aims of the Americas has promised aid to the 1,000,000 people displaced by
the floods that have hit Tabasco. The same weather front hit the Dominican Republic.
Calderon was inaugurated behind locked doors in the presence of George Bush I after
a highly disputed ballot which included electronic voting machines. This led to the seven week
shut down of Mexico city and was closely followed by the Brutal repressions and murders
in Oaxaca. Calderon notably allowed the apartheid wall between Mexico and the US whilst
refusing to deal with both the Amnesty international campaign for justice in Oaxaca
or the concerns of the Brad Will family for the removal of Governor Ulises Ruis, who
has not yet been impeached despite numerous evidences of torture/rape and kidnap in Oaxaca.
The links are in the article and comments above.
Tabasco is located on the heel between Guatemala and Mexico, there is a severe weather
forecast for the next three days. So far I.T is saying that the irish Government has pledged
aid and support.

80% of the region is now under water.
Tabasco is still 80% under water with millions displaced coming into winter. The luke warm response of the
Calderon regime mirroring precisely the reaction of Bush to New Orleans.

Tabasco is the place where Cortes began his destruction of Latin America and that destruction continues
with the connivance of the current government under Calderon. Image courtesy of Chiapas, Little or no
reportage available on the Dominican Republic, its not interesting enough for Irish people who are
copying the greed and avarice of the US also.
