i feel thats as long the rsf continues , i have to continue pointing out that the only way the rsf can consrtrue a majority in favour of a united ireland , is by remove the right to self-determination for unionist. This is not democracy. A majority can always be found to back something by choosing the right group of people. It's called gerrymandering.

A majority of the people on this island already are in favour of unification . Gerrymandering , which prevents this ,is an undemocratic practice . The 6 county statelet is gerrymandering personified . And thats precisely what the unionist veto is , a product of British gerrymandering , hence the omission of 3 ulster counties from " unionist ulster". If unionists in Ulster had a right to self determination then Cavan , Monaghan and Donegal would make up the British state in Ireland . Unionists are supposed to lose their "right to self determination" as soon as 50% +1 happens . Therefore this right appears not to be a right at all . Merely a British mechanism to continue its occupation of the Irish nations territory and interfere in its internal politics .

And baiting , as opposed to debating , is a ridiculous past -time for a grown adult . I suggest you get a life .

carrying on from the previous discussion .

I have a simple question. If unionists outnumbered nationalist would we rejoin the kingdom ?

Is this not what happened in america and australia where sufficient planters removed the claim to statehood from the natives.

if democracy is just about majorities , then we should have no problem telling the basques to stop their nonsense, and the natives in america and australia.

The reality is much more complex. forcing unionist to join the republic is the EXACT same as the u.k. forcing ireland into it's realm. The rsf are oblivious to the fact that they wish to repeat the mistakes of the former enemy , and thus become just as reprehensible.
