perhaps good news for France's daily left wing newspaper.

Liberátion, founded by amongst others Jean Paul Sarte is to remain a viable business concern after Baron Édouard de Rothschild confirmed yesterday that he is giving the paper 20,000,000€ which approximates to a 37% holding.

differing reactions to the news that the heir to the Rothschild fortune built during the Napoleonic War by a German financier with a deft hand at being first with the news is to buy the Leftie news of France-

that the staff of liberation are on 24 hour strike. It was voted for last monday and began yesterday at around 14h00 and will end later this afternoon (around buttered scone time in rural ireland).
