Pat Breen, Fine Gael TD from Bunratty, showed that he's been listening to the lies about natural resources, and he believes them, when he spoke about Corrib in the Dáil. The sad thing is that his acceptance of the nonsense peddled by Shell and the Green Party means that instead of an opposition testing and challenging the government we have a docile and pointless group of placemen waiting for a chance to get into government simply to get a few things for their constituents and jobs for their friends. read full story / add a comment ![]()

A relaxed yet determined crowd gathered at the monthly vigil in Shannon this Sunday evening to protest against the ongoing use of the airport by the US military and CIA. Not surprisingly there was an unidentified aircraft sitting on the airport tarmac at the time. And also not surprisingly, the Gardai were determined to stop any of the concerned vigil attendees from identifying it. read full story / add a comment

It's been clear for the last 2 years that the argument against the Shell Corrib Gas Project is won. And the amount of cars beeping their horns in Ennis this evening is testament to the support for Shell to Sea, genuinely. The Government continue in their refusal to debate the arguments and negotiate a settlement, and they persist in using force against the protests at Bellanaboy, a protest that has gained national and international support and recognition as ... LEGITIMATE & JUST. Greens - You have buried your heads in the Fianna Fáil mire. Yoy are complicit now. You are proving yourselves to be unreliable and unworthy of trust. The Green Party pumps for Shell. read full story / add a comment ![]()
