Galway Poet wins Goldsmith Award

Maureen Gallagher has just won the Goldsmith Poetry Award 2011.

Maureen Gallagher has just won the Goldsmith Poetry Award 2011 with her sonnet "By The River". Her first collection of poems "Calling The Tune" was published in 2008. Maureen tutors creative writing at the Education Centre in Galway.
