Rally to save Navan Hospital

The Save Navan Hospital Campaign held a mass rally outside the Dáil 20th January 2011. Hundreds came from Navan to defend the local hospital service.

Mary Harney, the Minister for Health resigned the night before just after returning from her holiday in South Africa. She retires on a huge pension. This caused much rancour among many protestors.

A mock episode of the RTE program The Riordans was performed outside the Dáil uniting theatre and street protest.
