Demonstration at cut to minimum wage at the Dáil 9:12:2010

Demonstration against cutting the minimum wage.

The government is using obscure legal backchannels to rush though a cut to the minimum wage. Their plan would slash €40 a week from the household budgets of tens of thousands of struggling families.

This cut is both unnecessary and unjust. But if we join together, there's still time to stop it.

We've launched an emergency petition, with an initial goal of collecting 5,000 signatures in 72 hours. Your signature and comments will be sent to your TD and publicly presented to the Dáil by a delegation of minimum wage workers.

Claiming our Future held a protest outside the Dail today to try to stop this unnecessary law from being passed.
