Lebanon army put full alert

Lebanon’s army has been put “on full alert” in response to the Israeli Home Front Command drill which is to begin this Sunday. Despite Israeli and UN assurances that the drill will be defensive in nature , Hezbollah has was warned of “possible aggression” along the Israel Lebanon border and stated that its fighters are prepared to respond

The Israeli exercise , code-named Turning Point 3 , will be the largest drill ever conducted in the state’s history. All Israelis will be instructed to enter secure spaces and sirens will sound throughout the country at a 11 am on a day that has not been specified yet , but which observers believe will be Wednesday .
The drill follows the military exercises held last week in which fighter jets, cargo planes and missile defense systems were tested over four days simulating responses to simultaneous attack against Israel from the south and the north .
