The banks have been given a €7 billion bailout of taxpayer’s money for their greedy risk-taking mistakes, whilst ordinary people are given job losses, wage cuts, a pension levy, a shrinking health service, and cutbacks in education, transport and other public services.
Enough is enough!
Come down to the Bank of Ireland and AIB on College Green, lunchtime on April 1st to ask them for your money back.
Let's give them a queue to remember. Shut them down for the day. Reclaim college Green. Dress up as financial fools. Show them how foolish they are. Fools Party at the bank.
Assemble 12noon at Bank of Ireland, College Green, April 1st

The narrow-minded agenda of this government to protect it’s “golden circle” friends in the banking and other corporate sectors is only symptomatic of a capitalist financial system that for the past 40 years has persued neoliberal free-market economics to squeeze ever more profits out of workers and communities in developing countries as well as here in the west. At the same time it has been causing irreparable damage to our environment, heating up our world, melting the icecaps, burning up the rainforests, pushing the planet and its people to tipping point.
It’s time we took back control of our lives and our world from the financial fools. See you on April 1st for a fool-hardy time!

Solidarity with the g20 resistance in London!
Lets stop this madness
Was there today! It was absolutely brilliant! Great to see people standing up to bankers and challenging them. Hopefully many more demos like this keep happening. They can't pocket all of our money and then pretend that everything's ok, that they can keep going on with their business as usual.
