Gardaí estimate that up to 60,000 people have joined the protest against education cutbacks in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí estimate that up to 60,000 people have joined the protest against education cutbacks in Dublin city centre.
The gardaí say that this figure will most likely grow as the march moves through the city and others join in.
Organisers of the demonstration against cutbacks have claimed it will be one of the biggest marches seen here in recent years.
The protest is scheduled to end at Merrion Square.
