CNN launches website for citizen journalists

'CNN executives acknowledge that iReport.com's openness is something of a departure for a news organization that prides itself on accuracy and editorial judgment.'


CNN is to launch it's own unvetted audience produced news website.
It happen first with indymedia and now the big boys n gals are nabbing the genre- where does that leave journalists?

what many of them have wanted all along. Drudging through copy all their lives dreaming of the day they can take a scissors to other peoples' articles. Ah!!!! But this new venture will mean satisfying their ambition & hunger for power without actually paying them any extra dosh. Perfect.
