The Committee to protect journalists has welcomed the release
of Ching Cheong, but deplored the sentencing of Lu Gengsong
for 'incitingsubversion of State Power'.
The vids and article is above- Ching Cheong is also on the
thread in relation to Alan Johnson. he has been paroled and is
allowed to return to his family.

Cheong had spent three years in prison for treason, an offence punishable by
death, the hearings against him were begun in 2006 and behind closed doors
so very little information on the process was available to campaigners
and family members.. details in the post above incl. video interviews.
The statement at link details ongoing cases against two other journalists.
