The Guardian reports on a 21-year old refugee from Sierra Leone living in Dublin whom the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) have expressed a desire to deport, but a fear of a challenge in a higher court due to the dangerous nature of Sierra Leone.
The situation is compounded by the fact that Kennedy George came to Ireland as a child, a situation common to at least 150 other people known to Eamonn Gilmore TD. Apparently the GNIB are looking into the innovation of "deportation to a third country".
