'The Justification of Connolly'
Speaker Manus O'Riordan, Head of Research SIPTU.

Manus O'Riordan will primarily defend Connolly's role in the rising, will outline his vision of democratic socialism, will explore his pro-German stance in World War 1 and negate the theory that his actions were simply that of an insurrectionist.

Jump To Comment: 1Manus O 'Riordan spent all his youth condeming Connolly and all he stood for. It must be nostalgic for him to return to the capital city of reacton in Ireland(Cork)where he went to school to get his doctorate as the leading clown in the carnival of reaction alongside fellow anti -Connolyite two-nationists in UCC ,Ann Harris nee O'Sullivan and the other clowns Clifford and Eoghan Harris etc . Would Manus not be beter off making an appeal to the Minister of Justice to have the new Gardai reserve force search Ireland for the lost nation -the Ulster Protestant nation.The whereabouts of this second nation is keenly sought after. Could they have joined with his other revisionist friend and reactionary , 'the late Jim Kemmy in the sky above the moon?
