Launch of new Venezuela support group

A new group has been set up with the aims of supporting democracy in Venezuela, and ensuring regime change in Venezuela occurs only through democratic means.

The group will have its official launch on Tuesday April 11th at 7pm in the office of the Latin American Solidarity Centre, 3 Merrion Row, D2.

The Irish-made documentary, “The Revolution will not be Televised”, which documents the attempted military coup of Chavez by opposition members in April 2002, will be shown, followed by a discussion on US intervention in this attempted coup.

Anyone with an interest in Venezuela, Chavez, US intervention in Venezuela or Latin America as a whole are welcome.
