Wayne Price has a thoughtful and ethically aware article on why opposing the unethical actions of one's own government should be a priority rather than moaning about some far away one.

In Ireland this means focussing on the State's complicity in the occupation of Iraq by permitting Shannon to be used as a conduit for troops and supplies. Part of what he says about the Democrats would proably be applicable, albeit it to a lesser extent, to the Labour Party here.

The second section of the article discusses the question of support for all resistence groups, questioning some uncritical support from American Marxist groups for regressive, capitalist loving mysoginists.
